Cold Weather Starts at Ground Level
As temperatures begin to drop, the ground beneath a project matters just as much as what will eventually stand above it.
Poor drainage, saturated soil, unfinished grading, and exposed areas can complicate construction as winter approaches. That is why site development is more than simply clearing land and creating a building pad. Water movement, soil conditions, access, erosion control, and the sequence of earthwork all play a role in how well a property handles changing weather.
A site prepared with the seasons in mind gives the work that follows a stronger starting point.
