Clutter2Close Hi! I have entered the Real Estate business for the second time! I love going thru houses and connecting the right buyers with those homes.

My focus this time around are sellers who are ready to downsize! Powered by Keller Williams.

Working with senior clients navigating a hoarding situation taught me something no real estate license prepares you for: this is never just about the house.

Every stacked newspaper, every unopened closet, every cluttered table is attached to a person, a memory, or a version of themselves they're not ready to release. My job stops being about square footage and starts being about sitting with someone while they tell me why a chipped teacup matters.

Two things I've learned matter more than any listing strategy:

Patience. These timelines cannot be rushed. What takes another client a weekend can take a senior client months. Progress isn't measured in bags to Goodwill — it's measured in trust.

Tenderness. Families are often exhausted and frustrated. But the client in front of me is usually ashamed, not stubborn. Saying "help me understand why this matters to you" instead of "you don't need this" changes everything.

I've also learned I can't do this alone. Senior move managers, compassionate professional organizers, estate sale pros, and geriatric care managers have become some of my most valued partners.

The most meaningful moments of my career haven't come from the easy closings. They've come from watching a client go from gripping a doorframe they wouldn't let anyone past, to standing in an empty house months later, tearful but at peace.

Helping a senior downsize isn't about selling a house. It's about helping someone close a chapter with dignity — before the sign ever goes up.

If you're supporting a parent or loved one through this, you don't have to figure it out alone. I'm happy to help, gently and at your own pace.

🏡 "Is now a good time to sell my home in St. Louis?" 🏡
It's the #1 question I hear from longtime homeowners. So here's an honest answer — no sales pitch, no scare tactics. ☕
The truth? It depends on you more than the market.
✅ What I'm seeing in St. Louis right now:
• Longtime owners often have significant equity — sometimes more than they realize 💰
• Inventory is still limited, so well-priced homes attract serious buyers
• The market is steady — not a frenzy, not a downturn
⚠️ But also keep in mind:
• If you're buying again locally, you're selling high and buying high
• Your block matters more than the headlines — Kirkwood - Webster Groves - Crestwood - Maplewood 📍
The real questions aren't about the market. They're about your life:
🏡 Is this home still serving the life you want? 🏡 Are the stairs, the yard, the upkeep getting harder? 🏡 Would your equity unlock options that feel exciting?
If the answers point toward "it's time," the market is almost always workable — that's my job. 🤍
If you're happy where you are, no market should rush you. Stay. Enjoy. 💛

The right move starts with the right information. ✨

I'll be honest with you — I never thought it would happen to me.

I consider myself a careful person. Detail-oriented, intentional, thorough. It's literally how I operate in every area of my life, especially in my work. So when my Facebook account was hacked, it didn't just feel like an inconvenience. It felt like a violation.

Suddenly, my ads account had been hacked with the hacker creating ads and charging my business account. Thousands of dollars in one day!

The Fallout Goes Beyond the Obvious

Most people think about the immediate damage — the embarrassing posts, the spam messages, the scramble to change passwords. But the deeper wound is the erosion of trust. Not just other people's trust in me, but my own trust in online platforms and digital business.

I've become far more guarded. More skeptical. More intentional about what information I share, where I share it, and who I share it with. I question links. I double-check requests. I don't take digital safety for granted anymore.

And honestly? That experience changed how I show up for my clients — especially the seniors I'm privileged to work with every day.

What This Means When I Work With You (or Someone You Love)

As a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), I work with older adults who are navigating one of life's biggest transitions: selling a home, downsizing, clearing out a lifetime of belongings. It's deeply personal work. And with that comes an enormous amount of trust.

My clients share things with me that they don't share with many people. Financial situations. Health challenges. Family dynamics. The story behind every piece of furniture in a room. I am invited into some of the most private corners of a person's life — and I do not take that lightly.

Because of what I went through with my own hacking experience, I am acutely aware of how quickly information can fall into the wrong hands. I've lived it. I know what it feels like to lose control of your own identity, even temporarily. And I refuse to let that happen to anyone in my care.

My Commitment to You

When I work with a client — whether we're selling their home, sorting through decades of belongings, or navigating the paperwork of a major life change — here is my promise:

Your information stays with me. I handle personal details, financial documents, and sensitive family matters with the same care I wish someone had exercised with my own data. Nothing gets shared unnecessarily. Nothing gets left unsecured.

My attention to detail is your protection. The same quality that makes me meticulous about staging a home or reviewing a contract is the quality that makes me careful about who has access to your information and how it's used.

I will never rush the process at the expense of your privacy. Whether it's a signature, a disclosure, or a conversation about your next chapter — we do things right, and we do them thoughtfully.

A Final Thought

Getting hacked didn't make me afraid of technology — it made me smarter about it. More aware. More empathetic to how vulnerable our personal information really is, and how much it matters to protect it.

That awareness is something I carry into every transaction, every home visit, every conversation with a senior client or their family. You deserve an agent who understands what's at stake — not just financially, but personally.

I've walked through the discomfort of having my trust broken online. That's exactly why I work so hard to make sure you never have to feel that way with me.

Speaking of Promises....
🤍 My Promise to You. 🤍
If we ever sit down together — at your kitchen table, over coffee, on a phone call — here's exactly what you can expect from me. Every single time. ☕
🕊️ Honesty. I'll tell you the truth. Even when it's not the answer you were hoping for. Even when it costs me the deal. Your trust matters more to me than any commission ever will.
⏳ Patience. I'll move at your pace — not mine. Whether you're ready next week or next year (or just "thinking about thinking about it"), there's no clock running. Big decisions deserve room to breathe. 🌿
🙅‍♀️ Zero pressure. No pushy follow-ups. No guilt trips. No "but the market won't wait!" scare tactics. When you're ready, you're ready. Until then, I'm just a friendly resource. 💌
👂 Real listening. I'll ask questions, then actually listen to your answers. Your story matters. Your timeline matters. Your worries matter. All of it shapes how I help you.
🗣️ Plain English. No confusing jargon. No talking over your head. If I use a term you don't know, please stop me — and I'll explain it as many times as you need. 🤍
🤝 Showing up. When I say I'll call, I'll call. When I say I'll handle something, it's handled. Small promises kept are how big trust is built.
That's it. That's the whole promise. 💛
You deserve a real estate experience that feels calm, clear, and human — because buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions of your life, and you should never feel rushed through it.
Whenever you're ready (and only when you're ready), I'm here. ✨
📩 Save this post. Share it with someone who needs to hear it. Or just know I'm a message away whenever the time is right. 🤍
