⚾️ A HOME RUN ON THEIR FIRST AT-BAT! 🏡🎉
Today was closing day for James & Micaela, and their story is a little different from what I’m used to seeing with first-time homebuyers.
I was referred to these two as they started their search for their first home. In today’s competitive market, with limited inventory, buying your first home can be a process. There’s a learning curve, some tough decisions, and often a house or two you lose along the way.
Not these two though. They came out swinging! ⚾️
After our very first day looking at homes, I got a message: “We think this could be the one. Can you send us comparable sales and a price evaluation?”
Of course! But in the back of my mind, I’m thinking… it’s never this easy. 😂
Usually there’s something you didn’t notice in the pictures, something that gives you second thoughts, or you find yourself competing against multiple offers and learning the hard way what it takes to win.
Well, we saw the house and it was as good as they were hoping, and we DID find ourselves in a multiple-offer situation.
But James & Micaela knew what they wanted, listened to my advice, and put together a strong offer that got the job done!
However, my favorite moment actually came during our first appointment. We were walking through a basement, and I was pointing out some existing issues and things they might want to consider down the road.
One of them stopped and said, “Wow, I never would’ve thought to look at that. Thanks for pointing all this out.”
That right there is one of my favorite parts of this job. It’s not just about finding someone a house or getting an offer accepted. It’s about helping people understand what they’re buying, recognize potential issues, so they can make confident, informed decisions.
James & Micaela, congratulations on your first home! 🏡🔑 It isn’t often you hit a home run your first time at bat in the majors, but you two pulled it off!
Wishing you both many happy years and wonderful memories in your new home! ❤️
