Well I made it! This weekend marked my official 20 year anniversary of becoming a real estate agent. Back in 2006 you had to take the test in Baton Rouge and I remember calling everyone on the drive home to tell them I passed! Then in 2018 I upgraded to a broker’s license. It’s been a wild ride that’s taken me to sales in Pearl River, Bogalusa, Baton Rouge, Central, and of course closer like Covington, Metairie, Kenner, Westbank, and all over New Orleans. I’ve been a listing agent for sellers and landlords of both commercial and residential property, and represented buyers and tenants for both as well. I’ve worked for 7 companies that included national franchises and local companies. I’ve been a sponsoring broker for a national franchise, a managing broker for a local company and have happily settled as an associate broker for a local boutique brokerage. Of course the best part is the people. The friends and family who let me represent them as clients and the clients and colleagues who have become family and friends are what make it all worthwhile. I’ve seen a lot in 20 years so don’t be afraid to ask me anything! Looking forward to that next post ❤️ 🏡
