They may not be old enough to vote yet, but they’re old enough to learn that our voices matter & showing up for our community is important. One day, they’ll be filling out their own ballots. For now, they get to tag along with Mom. 🗳️

Some of my favorite childhood memories smell like race fuel and sound like horsepower. 🏁

Just a couple hours south of my Lead Hill home, sits one of my favorite places in the Ozarks — Centerville Dragway, better known as “The ’Ville.”

I spent nearly every weekend there growing up. Even earned my name in PINK on the tower after winning a Street Championship! 💗

But the biggest wins weren’t trophies.

That track taught me how to lose gracefully, win humbly (most of the time 😉), and build lifelong friendships. Most importantly, it gave me countless hours with my dad — time I didn’t fully appreciate until I got older.

We don’t go nearly as often these days, but my boys love it just as much as I did.

Drag racing is becoming a lost art, and these little hometown tracks deserve our support!

So take your family to the racetrack! Grab some concession stand food, cheer on the cars, and make some memories. Good, clean family fun.

Check out The ’Ville on a Saturday or Sunday when they’re racing. A crisp fall day, roaring engines, and good company? Hard to beat.

Some kids grew up at the ballfield. I grew up at the drag strip. Wouldn’t trade it for a thing. ❤️🏁

✅ Furniture, mattresses, appliances without Freon, bicycles, lawnmowers (without gas or oil), and other approved items can be picked up.

🚫 No electronics, chemicals, yard waste, construction debris, or items containing Freon.

IMPORTANT: Have your items out by Thursday, October 29, because Methvin will begin pickup early Friday morning!

One of the things I love most about our little community is how we come together when someone needs us. And right now, someone very special to me could use that love and support. 💗

Jane Anne Nuessner isn’t just one of my real estate clients. She’s also a friend, and she’s currently fighting breast cancer.

When I saw that Shae Bradley Flower Bar was organizing a gift basket raffle to help Jane Anne with her medical expenses, I knew I wanted to help spread the word!
