This is our 10th year riding Closer to Free and Dave's 10th year battling Stage IV colon cancer.
Ten years ago, we never imagined this would be our journey. Through every challenge, Dave has faced this disease with incredible strength, unwavering positivity, and a determination to live each day to the fullest. He continues to inspire me—and everyone who knows him.
The new treatment plan is focused on maintenance and quality of life, and we are grateful for every day, every mile, and every moment we get to share together.
As long as we're able, we will continue to ride Closer to Free because this ride represents hope, community, and the lifesaving research that has carried us through this journey.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your prayers, your encouragement, and your continued support over these past 10 years. It has meant more than you'll ever know.
