Arizona property-tax bills are usually split into two installments. The first installment is due October 1 and ordinarily becomes delinquent after November 1. The second installment is due the following March 1 and ordinarily becomes delinquent after the following May 1. Certain exceptions may apply.
A quick homeowner check:
1. Review your bill for the exact dates and amount due.
2. If your property is mortgaged, confirm whether the taxes are being paid through escrow by your mortgage holder.
3. Use your county treasurer’s website to access your bill and review payment options.
Always verify the timing shown on your bill or directly with your county treasurer.
