A few months ago, Jackie reached out with a goal to break free from her lease and find a home for herself and her kids. Today, that goal became Jackie's reality. 🏡

Des Moines! Did anyone else receive the freeze warning?

My husband didn't get it, so I figured I'd be the neighborhood PSA for those of you who missed it too.

1. Disconnect your garden hoses.
(After I'm done typing this, it is going to be the first thing I do! Or make my husband do when he gets home.)

2. Shut off and protect your irrigation system.

3. Bring in your plants!
(I can't keep a plant alive, but I can at least try to save yours.)

I love helping people buy their first home, but it’s also extra special when a dog gets their first yard. 🐶🏡

Congratulations to my brother, Carlton, and my sister in law, Lauren, on closing on their beautiful new home today! While they’re excited for this next chapter, I think it’s safe to say Archie is just as excited about his big backyard to run & play!
