OnSite Retail Group strengthens team, expands reach

OCTOBER 26, 2026 – Cincinnati Business Courier broke the news today that Cincinnati, OH-based OnSite Retail Group has announced two moves designed to strengthen its team and expand its reach: Samantha Goebel joined the company on October 19 as its newest sales and leasing agent, and the company joined the Retail Brokers Network (RBN). The announcements follow more than two years of work by OnSite’s four founders and Principals—Eric Abroms, Kristine Davidson, Andrew Feinblatt and Scott Saddlemire—to grow the 16-year-old company. The founders sought an experienced retail and restaurant real estate professional with a strong work ethic, excellent people skills and a solid industry reputation. “The stars finally aligned for us, and we were lucky enough to connect with Samantha, who was looking for new challenges and interested in an entrepreneurial career in brokerage,” Saddlemire said. Goebel joins OnSite after nearly six years with Cincinnati-based Phillips Edison & Company, one of the industry’s leaders in owning and operating grocery-anchored shopping centers. Saddlemire explained, “Grocery-anchored shopping centers remain among the industry’s most desired assets because they have demonstrated resilience and relevance. Samantha immediately strengthens our team with the experience she gained leasing grocery-anchored centers throughout the Midwest for a publicly traded REIT. That expertise, combined with her engaging personality, made her a perfect fit for OnSite.” At OnSite, Goebel will handle landlord representation and retail leasing as well as tenant representation and site selection for clients throughout Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus and Northern Kentucky.

OnSite Retail Group was also looking for ways to expand their reach while maintaining their independence. OnSite realized they could retain their independence and leverage the power of a national network. OnSite is excited to announce they have joined the Retail Brokers Network. Founded in 1992, the Retail Brokers Network, or “RBN”, is the largest network of retail brokerage offices in North America. More than 60 independent firms located throughout North America work together through RBN on a regional, national, and even international level in all areas of commercial real estate including tenant representation, investment sales, and project leasing. Its members are some of the most experienced commercial real estate professionals working throughout every major metropolitan area in North America. Cincinnati Business Courier staff reporter Hailey Roden contributed a story today about OnSite’s latest moves. Loving the Aldi ‘Aisle of Shame’

OCTOBER 9, 2026 – The Cincinnati Enquirer’s Patricia Gallagher Newberry explained it this way in a story she penned last week, “Thrifty friends long extolled Aldi for its great buys. So I visited a nearby Cincinnati store a few times and came away with cheap w**e, good meat and some jeggings I still wear. (Yes, I know, cringe.) But I wasn't a regular. Until I discovered the "Aisle of Shame." Now I'm hooked.”

Gallagher Newberry is talking about the Aldi Finds aisle, which gets restocked weekly in every store with irresistible bargains on all kinds of interesting and wacky products. You gotta check it out – after all, could the 4 million “Aisle of Shame” Facebook fans all be wrong?! Ace Hardware’s new store count may exceed 170 this year

September 11, 2026 - Marianne Wilson of Chain Store Age reported last week that despite already having 5,300 stores across the US, Ace Hardware is continuing to grow at an impressive pace. Wilson wrote, “The world's largest hardware cooperative today marked its 100th new store opening of 2026 and remains on pace to open more than 170 new stores by the end of 2026. The company said its growth reflects strong demand from existing Ace retailers expanding their businesses, independent operators converting to the Ace brand and new entrepreneurs joining the cooperative.” In just the past 6 years, Ace Hardware has increased its store count by 1,100 units. The locally owned and operated stores can be found in all 50 states. Perhaps boosting the growth is recognition by Entrepreneur magazine who counted Ace in their "Best of the Best" rankings. In addition, Ace reached Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 with a 4th overall ranking. It was the 5th year in a row that Ace has been included in their list of top franchises.

Andrew Feinblatt and Kristine Davidson of Cincinnati, OH-based OnSite Retail Group are helping Ace with their growth and representing the chain in Cincinnati, Northern KY, Dayton, and western & northwestern OH. Aldi celebrating 50 years in the U.S.

SEPTEMBER 2, 2026 – It may be hard to believe, but OnSite Retail Group client Aldi has been operating stores in the U.S. for 50 years. Aldi’s first U.S. store opened in Iowa in 1976. It was in the 1980s when Aldi first came to Ohio. The Albrecht family started Aldi in Europe in 1960, according to Aldi’s website.

Peyton Bigora, a reporter with Grocery Dive, posted a story earlier this week about the grocer. In her story Bigora wrote, “Today, Aldi U.S. is regarded as the country’s fastest-growing grocer — a title it has worked hard to earn since it debuted stateside. As early as the 1990s, Aldi was looking at large-scale growth, aiming to open hundreds of stores and enter new markets in the span of just a few years. This continued into the 2000s and 2010s. The discounter’s most recent decade in the U.S. has been defined by yearly store growth of around 100-200 stores, the appointment of a new CEO and regional acquisitions. But Aldi isn’t all business all the time. The company has also garnered a reputation in recent years for fun and youthfulness, whether through stylish swag or hopping onto social media trends.” Click here to read the full story: https://www.grocerydive.com/news/aldi-50-year-anniversary-US-growth-expansion-timeline/829118/

Early this year, Aldi reported plans to open over 180 new stores, and that over the next two years the company has a special focus on expansion into Colorado, the South and the Southwest. Andrew Feinblatt of Cincinnati, OH-based OnSite Retail Group has spent many years working with Aldi, and his efforts continue to expand the company’s presence across Greater Cincinnati, Dayton and western & northwestern Ohio.

Aldi celebrates grand opening of its newest Cincinnati-area store

AUGUST 20, 2026 – Hamilton Township today rolled out the red carpet for the Cincinnati area’s newest Aldi store. The new 22,000 square foot store is located at the corner of Grandin Drive and State Route 48 in Hamilton Township in Warren County. A huge line of shoppers weathered the early morning rain and came out today to see the ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m. The first 100 customers in the door were given an Aldi goodie bag, as well as a golden ticket that could be worth upwards of $100.

Andrew Feinblatt of OnSite Retail Group represented Aldi in the transaction and leads the real estate efforts in representing the grocery chain across a broad area covering Greater Cincinnati & Northern KY, as well as Dayton, western and northwestern OH.
