Roam Suite Rentals We provide fully furnished, professionally managed homes across the Midwest.

We occupy a precise position in the market — above extended-stay hotels, below the commitment of a traditional lease.

A 30-day stay has different needs than a weekend trip. We put the comparison in the places it actually matters: how much room you get, whether the kitchen cooks real meals, where the laundry lives, and what's included in the price. Swipe through and check each row against your own week. If the answers favor a home, we'd love to help you settle in. Questions about a stay? Send us a DM.

When a covered loss forces you out of your home, the choice of where to stay next deserves the same care you'd give a permanent address.

We've watched families weigh their options during repairs, and the factors that matter most tend to come down to a few things: enough bedrooms for kids and remote work, a kitchen that actually cooks, laundry under your own roof, privacy, and a stay length that matches the repair timeline.

That's the checklist we'd hand any family or advisor starting this process. Which factor would you rank first, and what do you wish you'd known sooner? Share your experience in the comments.

A month somewhere new is a long time to live out of a hotel room. We see it constantly: relocating professionals, traveling crews, and families displaced by an insurance loss all arrive expecting a short stay and end up needing a real place to live.

We built our homes for exactly that gap. Stays of 30 days or more add up fast, and the differences between a hotel and a fully furnished home show up in everyday life:

- Space: room to work, unpack, and spread out instead of living in one main room.
- Kitchen and laundry: a full kitchen with cookware and a washer and dryer, so you are not planning every meal around a restaurant or a laundromat.
- Work setup: a dedicated place to focus, with high-speed WiFi built for remote work.
- Privacy: your own ensuite layout and a door that closes behind you.
- Monthly cost: linens, housewares, utilities, and monthly cleanings are included, so you can see what you are paying for.

A hotel can be the right call for a few nights. For a month or longer, we think a furnished home is the more practical choice, and we would rather you compare the two honestly than take our word for it.

If you are planning a stay of 30 days or more in Chicago or anywhere else we operate, tell us about your timeline and we will walk you through what fits.

Most of our guests never message us about the small stuff. They just sit with it, and by the time it becomes a real problem, the stay already feels like a hotel with a lease.

We'd rather hear from you on day 3, not day 30. A fast, clear answer to a little question is what keeps a 60-day stay feeling like home.

What's the smallest thing you'd want answered fast during a stay?

Every relocation decision we see starts with an employee's offer letter, but the real impact lands at the kitchen table. When we plan housing for an assignment, we ask one question first: who else is moving? A spouse who has to pause a career or relicense, kids switching schools mid-year, a family dog with nowhere to go. A one-bedroom simply cannot carry all of that.

We built our homes around families for this reason: separate bedrooms, full kitchens, in-unit laundry, pet-friendly policies, and fast WiFi. Housing that fits the whole household protects the assignment itself.

How does your relocation policy account for the family, not just the employee? We'd like to hear what's working.

Insurance relocation specialists, we know the placements that keep you up at night are the ones where a hotel is too small and a 12-month lease is out of the question. We see it every week: a family displaced by a covered loss, a kid and a dog, and no good option for the next 60 to 180 days.

What's the hardest displacement housing you've had to source? Tell us in the comments. We'd love to hear how you solved it, and what you wish existed.

A covered insurance loss is disruptive enough without having to shop for housing twice. Here is what we think a displaced family should insist on from a temporary home:

1. Furnished essentials on day one. Cookware, linens, towels, and a working kitchen mean you are not hauling boxes or buying a starter set in the middle of a claim.

2. Room for the real household. Ensuite layouts, enough bedrooms for everyone, and space for the kids and the pets to settle in without stepping on each other.

3. Paperwork that supports your claim. Clear, dated lease and billing records make it easier to document displacement costs for your adjuster.

We built Roam Suite Rentals around that checklist: move-in ready homes, professional management around the clock, and terms that start at 30 days so you are not locked into a long lease while your home is being rebuilt.

If you are in the middle of a claim, save this post and bring it to your next housing conversation. What was the hardest part of your temporary housing search? Tell us below.

Your long shifts ask a lot of you, and recovery is where the work actually holds up. Sleep is the variable you can control, and it starts with the physical details of the space you come home to.

That means a real bed, plush bedding that feels like it was chosen for you, and a bedroom that's quiet and private enough to shut the day out. Hotel rooms rarely deliver all three. Our furnished residences are built around them, so you can settle in and actually switch off between assignments.

Every RoamSuite home comes move-in ready, with premium bedding, ensuite layouts, and white-glove support around the clock, so you spend your energy on your patients, your crew, or your career instead of your mattress.

We offer residences on 30-day terms and longer, across Chicago and beyond. Browse our properties and find the bedroom that fits your next assignment. Explore our residences today.

Every project manager knows this scene. The contract is signed, the schedule is tight, and suddenly you're juggling six booking confirmations, three different check-in times, and a nightly rate that climbs every time someone else needs a bed. That's the default way most crews get housed, and it quietly drains budget and energy before the first pour.

We built Roam Suite Rentals to treat housing as one planned line item. We set up a fully furnished, move-in ready home for the full length of the job, with one point of contact, 24/7 white-glove management, and a monthly professional cleaning so nobody has to think about it. When the project moves to the next site, we reset the arrangement for you.

For superintendents and PMs, that means fewer calls, a crew that stays together, and people who show up rested on day one. Housing handled once, handled well.

If you have a 30 to 180 day assignment coming up, send us your dates and we'll walk you through options. Start the conversation before the crew arrives.

Every project manager knows the drill: a new site, a crew of twenty, and suddenly you're running a housing search on top of the job. Individual searches mean scattered addresses, separate stipends, and a team that never quite sees each other after hours.

We look at it differently. Team housing is a logistics decision. We source a coordinated set of fully furnished homes in the same neighborhoods, with private rooms and private bathrooms for every person, so your crew stays close to the site and close to each other. One arrangement, one point of contact, and typically a lower total cost than funding twenty individual leases or stipends.

We handle the sourcing, the setup, and the day-to-day details, so you can keep your attention on the build. Tell us your crew size, your site, and your timeline, and we'll map out what a coordinated housing plan looks like for your team.

Send us a message to start the conversation.
