The clocks fell back this weekend, and that changes how buyers see your home. 🏡
These days, a lot of showings happen after work, in the dark. Before you head out, leave these on:
• Porch and yard lights
• A lamp by the front door
• The kitchen light
• Lamps in the living room
Bonus: swap any burned-out bulbs and go with warm “soft white” ones. It makes a world of difference.

Already moved out of the house you’re selling? Don’t let an empty home freeze on you this winter!
A cold snap can turn into a burst pipe fast, and nobody’s around to catch it. Here’s how to protect it:
🌡️ Keep the heat on, at least 55°F, even when no one’s home.
🔥 Top off the propane, and ask your supplier about automatic refills.
🚰 Open the sink cabinets so warm air can reach the pipes.
💧 Protect the well. Make sure the well house stays above freezing.
👀 Check on it weekly, and after every hard freeze.
📞 Call your insurance agent. Empty homes can have different coverage rules.
