Meet Sarah Mitchell, Lettings Director at KFH. ❤️
From her property perspective to the charity challenges she’s taking on, get to know Sarah beyond the job title in this quick-fire Q&A.
🏡 What’s your unpopular property opinion?
Location isn’t everything; the right home can make you fall in love with an area you’d never considered.
🙅♀️ What’s one thing you’re terrible at?
Saying no! I genuinely love helping people, which is a good trait most of the time, but it does mean I tend to take on more than I probably should.
🎬 Who would play you in a film about your life, and why?
This is a tough one, so I’m going to go with Olivia Colman. There have been plenty of twists and turns in my story, so she would need to cover everything from resilience and determination to not taking life too seriously.
🌿 What’s one thing you couldn’t go a day without?
Time outdoors. I love nature, so whether it’s a good dog walk or spending time with my daughter and her horse, getting outside is the perfect way for me to switch off and reset.
🚶♀️ What’s something you want to accomplish or do before the end of 2026?
I’ve got quite a list! I’m planning to complete a 20-mile charity walk for London Youth and take part in Centrepoint’s Sleep Out challenge. I also have jury service to get through. After all that, I want to get our 2027 holiday plans sorted so there’s something relaxing to look forward to.
🏢 What was your first-ever job?
My first full-time role was in asset management, overseeing the sale of properties that had been repossessed by various lenders. Although the circumstances behind the properties were often unfortunate, I loved the variety of the role and the people I got to work with, from surveyors, solicitors, estate agents and auctioneers. It was a great introduction to the property industry and where my love of property began.
💬 What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Focus on the things you can control. If there is something you really want to achieve, take ownership of it rather than waiting for someone else to make it happen for you. You can’t control every outcome, but you can always control your own effort, attitude and determination.
