What’s happening in the PEI market? 🏡

CREA just updated its forecast, and the Island is telling an interesting story.

📉 Sales: Expected to slow in 2026 (about 1,980 sales, down 7.7%), as higher mortgage rates keep some buyers on the sidelines.

📈 Prices: Still expected to climb, with the average forecast at about $411,400 (+2.9%). Nationally, prices are expected to be nearly flat.

🔜 2027: A modest recovery is on the horizon, with sales up about 4.8%.

What it means for you: whether you’re buying or selling, the right move depends on your neighbourhood, your price point, and your timeline.
