What happened to Columbia Valley real estate prices this past year? 📊

Fewer homes sold. Values still went up.

From September 2025 to August 2026, whole-ownership sales across the Columbia Valley fell 16%, from 476 to 398. Over the same stretch, values rose about 6.6% like-for-like, which means holding the mix of areas and property types steady.

Why adjust for the mix? A plain median can move just because a different set of homes happened to sell that year. Comparing like with like shows what actually happened to prices.

The Columbia Valley Rockes have extended an exciting offer for local minor hockey players this season!

Starting immediately, all registered Windermere Valley Minor Hockey (WVMHA) players can attend Columbia Valley Rockies home games for just $5 per game. This is a great opportunity for young athletes to watch exciting junior hockey, support their local team, and be inspired by some of the region's top players.

We encourage all players, families, coaches, and supporters to come out and enjoy the action-packed atmosphere at Rockies home games throughout the season.

Promotion Details:

Minor hockey players admission: $5.
Valid for all Columbia Valley Rockies regular season home games (2026/27).
Front door staff will have a list of all registered WVMHA players, so upon arrival players can simply provide their name and age group.
Players are encouraged to wear Rockies attire.
Players aged 12 and under must be supervised by an adult, with a maximum ratio of three kids per adult.
We want all minor hockey players to have a great experience at Rockies games. Please cheer loudly, support the team positively, and remember to represent your team and association with respect and good sportsmanship.
