Calgary’s housing market continues to show a mixed picture, with performance varying noticeably by property type. Detached and semi-detached homes are holding up well, while row homes and apartments are seeing more downward pressure compared with last year. For buyers and sellers, this means the market you’re experiencing can look very different depending on the type of home and the part of Calgary you’re in.
Looking at the city-wide average sale prices, detached homes averaged $813,806, up 4% year-over-year, while semi-detached homes averaged $691,163, up 5%. Row homes averaged $444,734, down 3%, and apartments averaged $316,248, down 5%. There are also significant differences between Calgary’s individual districts, so city-wide numbers don’t always tell the full story. Swipe through to see how prices are performing across each area of the city.
