Introducing Solace, a four bedroom family residence in Northcote where architectural strength and quiet restraint are held in balance.

Designed by Mason Bright and built by Oviss, it is a home that feels assured from the street and calm within, made for a family to settle into and live in well.

Brick is one of the oldest building materials in Northcote.

At Solace, Mason Bright found a way to make it feel entirely new.

A smooth brick was chosen deliberately for what could be done with its laying.

The pattern shifts, the shadow deepens, and the texture that most people would expect to find in the material itself was instead created through the craft of how it was placed.

A facade that connects Solace to the streets around it while saying something those streets haven't heard before.

Northcote has always known what it is.

Solace was designed to belong to it completely.

A suburb that offers the kind of connectivity most people spend years looking for, and the kind of privacy they rarely find alongside it.

More to come.

The brickwork at Solace is where the design makes its first statement.

A smooth brick, laid with intention.

A texture found not in the surface, but in the pattern and the shadow it casts.

Where Oviss stands, project by project.

This business update moves through the current position of every site and introduces the new projects that are yet to be named, each one carrying us further into what comes next.

We're excited about what's to come!

The pipeline is complete, and the work that follows is the most ambitious Oviss has undertaken yet.

The next chapter starts now.

Solace has been quietly building toward a standard we haven't reached before, and standing inside it now it's clear we have achieved that.

Our first collaboration with Mason Bright has produced a home that feels on another level.

In its design, its ex*****on, and the ideas that run through every space within it.

We have been deliberately quiet about the details, because some things are better experienced than described.

Solace launches in November, more to come soon.

Some of Forma's most considered moments are its smallest ones.

Fine mosaic tile, chosen to bring a warmth to the bathroom, a detail that makes the whole space feel more resolved for its presence.

Every project has taught us something.

The lesson we took from Forma is when the standard is held from the beginning, the home will exceed every expectation.

A floor plan that works without sacrificing detail and design moments that landed stronger in person than on paper.

And a buyer response that confirmed what we had quietly believed for a long time; that there is a real appetite in this market for homes that are genuinely considered.

Forma is done, and we're proud of every moment.
