SELLING YOUR HOME: The Final Step
You’ve accepted the offer, the paperwork is signed, so what happens next?

The final stage is property transfer, where ownership is officially transferred from you, the seller, to the buyer.
Your conveyancing attorney will guide you through the legal process and paperwork, including the necessary compliance certificates and documents.

While there may seem like a lot to organise, you won’t be doing it alone. Your estate agent and conveyancer are there to guide you every step of the way.

How long does it take?
The transfer process can take up to around three months, depending on the circumstances and how quickly the required documentation is completed.

Once the transfer is registered at the Deeds Office, the sale is officially complete!
