Today, on World Food Day, we’re reminded that food is more than something on our tables — it represents nourishment, dignity, community and care. ❤️

There are simple ways each of us can make a difference:

🍎 Support a verified local food bank, feeding scheme or community initiative in your area.
🥕 Donate non-perishable food items when you can.
🍲 Share surplus food rather than letting it go to waste.
🛒 Plan meals and shopping lists to avoid buying more than you need.
🥦 Store food correctly and freeze items before they spoil.
❤️ Check in on an elderly neighbour or a family who may be going through a difficult season.

Sometimes making a difference doesn’t require a huge gesture. A grocery bag, a warm meal or simply choosing not to waste what we already have can matter.
