On this 25th anniversary of September 11th, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward danger to help others.
Here in Tucson, that spirit of remembrance continues through the annual 911 Tower Challenge. More than 1,300 participants are expected to climb or walk in honor of those who died on 9/11/2001. Participants carry the name and photo of a person lost that day, ensuring that each step is taken in remembrance of someone.
We’re grateful to our first responders, service members, and community members who continue to honor their legacy here in Southern Arizona.
Today, we remember and honor. We will never forget.
