Built in 1948 by Mahlon Haines, a local shoe businessman, this 48 foot long, shoe shaped home wasn't just built to stand out.

It was actually a creative way to advertise his shoe business! 👞🏠

Talk about thinking outside the box! 💡

What started as a clever marketing idea became one of York County's most recognizable landmarks.
