This November, Greene Giving encourages you to support the Greene County Food Pantry by donating canned goods and other nonperishable food items to help neighbors in need. If you’re able, consider stopping by a drop-off location and bringing a few items to donate. Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference for a local family!
Every can counts, and together, we can help put food on the tables of families throughout Greene County. Check out the November drop-off locations and dates and find a time to give!

We’re happy to award a small grant to 4 Paws for Ability, an incredible organization making a difference throughout Greene County and beyond through its life-changing service dogs!
This grant will help purchase puppy enrichment equipment, giving future service dogs like Penny in these photos opportunities to play, learn, and develop important skills as they prepare for their important work. We’re proud to support the amazing work 4 Paws for Ability does to change lives, one puppy at a time!

Today, we’re happy to spotlight Jennifer Schmidt, author of Be a Friend: PEERspective on Autism, “Why Didn’t They Just Say That?” and Yes, Please Tell Me!: Using the PEERspective Learning Approach to Help Preteens Navigate the Social World.
Jennifer works hard to educate students and schools across the country about disability inclusion, acceptance, and the importance of building a more inclusive world.
