When I moved to NYC at 22, I watched the marathon for the first time and remember thinking how incredible it was to see the whole city come together. I dreamed of running it myself one day. Today, that dream came true! š½ā¤ļø
Thanks to the generosity of so many friends and family, I raised $4,850 for the Pat Tillman Foundation! So incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me and helped make this possible!
And somehow, 10 years after setting my marathon personal record of 3:35 in Chicago, I matched that exact time in NYC! Proof that we can still be just as fast 10 years later!
NYC is WAY harder than Chicago (those bridges!!). I pushed myself to the limit and am absolutely crushed, but couldnāt be happier.
26.2 miles, five boroughs, and a city full of people cheering each other on. What an unforgettable day! ā¤ļøšāāļø
