The trees are showing off all their beautiful shades of gold, orange, and red, the string lights are glowing, and the crisp autumn air makes you want to curl up outside and soak it all in.

We love watching the seasons change here at Sebago Lake, and fall might just be one of our favorite times to be at the cottage. 🍁 From cozy evenings on the deck to the gorgeous colors all around us, it’s the perfect little escape to slow down and enjoy the simple things.
Who else thinks Maine fall is hard to beat? 🍂🧡

We wanted this little room to feel like a fairytale camp for kids — cozy, magical, warm, and just a little bit nostalgic. ✨🌲
Soft bedding, twinkle lights, warm wood, and lake views right outside the windows… the kind of place where kids can make up stories, wake up excited for the day, and feel like they’re sleeping in their own little camp tucked away in the woods.

That golden-hour glow streaming through the windows, the trees turning, and the lake just beyond the glass make staying in feel like the perfect place to be. Cozy afternoons, quiet sunsets, and that warm Maine magic we love so much. 🤎

🪶 A Little Piece of Our Story

Dragonflies have always held a special meaning for me — often symbolizing new beginnings, transformation, growth, and the presence of loved ones who have passed.

Moments after we got the keys to Basin Cottage, a dragonfly landed on the radio antenna of our car in the middle of downtown. It felt like a little sign that we were exactly where we were supposed to be.

So naturally, we had to bring a little dragonfly magic into the cottage. 🪶✨

This beautiful stained-glass light is one of several little nods you'll find throughout the cottage.
