👀 Oh heyyy, it’s now official.

Our broker, Justin Howington, is one of the Valley Board of Realtors 2027 Directors. 🏡

Congrats to the entire 2027 Board. We can't wait to see what this group does for REALTORS®, buyers, and sellers across the Mat-Su Valley. 🏔️💙

10/18/2026

This month’s Valley Board of REALTORS® meeting brought not one, but two pieces of exciting news for our Susitna Valley Realty brokerage. 🎊

📣 Our very own Justin Howington was voted in as the newest Director on the Valley Board of Realtors®. A surprise to him, perhaps, but not to the rest of us. 👏🏼

The Board of Directors guides the local REALTOR® association. It sets priorities and policy, supports professional standards and education, and speaks up on issues that affect property owners across the Mat-Su.

🏡 Justin brings a perspective that doesn't always get a seat at the table: the Upper Valley. Willow, Caswell, Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, and beyond. These communities have their own land, access, and growth questions, and the people who live here deserve a voice in the conversations shaping Valley real estate. We can't think of anyone better to take on this role. Justin will be a voice for his fellow REALTORS®, and he'll keep the buyers and sellers of our communities in mind every time he takes his seat.

💙 A super special congratulations to Ryan Manvsgold Cardoza, our newest associate, who took the REALTOR® oath at the same meeting.

Did you know not every licensed real estate profession is a REALTOR®? Ryan has officially joined the Valley Board of REALTORS®, Alaska REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. That membership comes with a pledge to uphold the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, a promise of honesty, professionalism, and putting clients first.

☺️ These two gentlemen are humble and would never toot their own horns, but it sure is a proud day for the Susitna Valley Realty’s team. So, please help us congratulate them both in the comments! 👇🏼
