🏡 More homes hit the Wichita market in August.

Active housing inventory in Wichita increased 2.73% from July to August, going from 1,682 active listings to 1,728.

And Wichita’s increase was more than the national market, where active listings rose 1.2% month over month in August.

So what does that mean?

📈 More choices for buyers
🏠 More competition among sellers
🔎 And a market that continues to see inventory build

Wichita’s inventory was also 12% lower than it was a year ago, so while supply is growing from month to month, the local market is still working with fewer active listings than last August.

The housing market isn’t moving the same way everywhere. Local data matters.
