Some people call me Agnes. Some call me Aggie. My dad used to call me Rosie because my middle name is Rose. 🤍

But really, you can call me when you’re thinking about selling your home. 😉

I know that deciding to sell usually starts way before the sign goes in the yard. Sometimes it starts with a random thought, a conversation over dinner, or wondering what your home might be worth in today’s market.

That’s where I come in.

No pressure, no big sales pitch. Just a real conversation about your home, your timing, and what would make the most sense for you.

And yes, I can definitely do that. 😊

Apparently your phone heard you say, “I wish I could buy a house,” and decided to send me. 😂

So… hi. I’m Agnes.

If buying has been sitting quietly in the back of your mind, you do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. You do not need to know your exact budget, your perfect neighborhood, or even whether now is the right time.

That is what the first conversation is for.

We can talk through what you want, what the numbers look like, what is realistic, and what your next step should actually be.

And if your phone happens to keep showing you houses after this… I’m going to assume it knows something. 😉

There are a lot of little decisions in real estate that do not feel very important in the moment.

Until they are.

For buyers, that can mean touring before you really know your numbers, falling in love with a house before you are pre-approved, or waiving protections just because you are worried about losing the deal.

For sellers, it can mean pricing off what your neighbor sold for months ago, leaving extra room to negotiate, or waiting until the house feels “perfect” before asking for advice.

Most of the expensive mistakes I see happen before anyone gets to the closing table.

That is why I am such a big believer in having a plan early.

Know your budget before you start touring.
Know what the current market is actually doing before you price.
Take the first couple of weeks on the market seriously.
Protect yourself with the right inspections.
And if you are under contract, keep your finances as boring as possible until the keys are in your hand. 😅

You do not need to know every answer before you start.

You just need to start the conversation early enough that we have time to make smart decisions together.

If buying or selling is somewhere on your radar, even if it is still six months away, send me a message. I am always happy to talk through what the first steps should look like for you. 🤍

“Don’t you just show houses?”

Yes. And apparently, that’s the part where I get to sit down the least and worry the least. 😂

The rest is coordinating appointments, following up on unanswered questions, keeping track of deadlines, negotiating terms, and figuring out why the lockbox has chosen this particular moment to test everyone’s patience.

It’s also knowing when you need an explanation, when you need a specialist, and when you just need a minute to think.

Buying or selling a home comes with a lot of moving pieces. My job is to keep them moving while making sure you understand what’s happening and what we need to do next.

You should feel comfortable asking questions, including the one you’ve already asked twice. There’s enough going on without pretending you understood something you didn’t.

So yes, I show houses. I also spend a considerable amount of time making sure everything between the showing and the closing gets the attention it deserves.

Coffee helps. A charged phone is essential. 😉

If a Brookfield-area move is on your mind, send me a message. We’ll start with your questions. 🤍

A higher interest rate does not automatically mean buyers stop buying.

People still move because life keeps moving.

A growing family needs another bedroom. A new job may mean a new city. Someone may be ready for one-story living, want to be closer to family, or simply be at the point where their current home no longer fits.

And sometimes, a buyer has enough equity or cash that the rate is only one piece of the decision.

That is why I always come back to the same question: **does the monthly payment make sense for your life and your budget?**

The rate matters, of course. But so do the home, the price, your timeline, your equity, your monthly payment, and what you are trying to accomplish.

If moving is on your mind, I’m happy to sit down, look at the numbers with you, and help you decide whether it makes sense now or whether waiting is the better move.

October buyers, this one is for you. 🍂🏡

Spring gets a lot of attention in real estate, but fall has its own advantages.

There can be fewer buyers touring, a little less urgency around every new listing, and more room to actually think through whether a home makes sense for you.

That does not mean every October purchase is automatically easier. Inventory can be tighter too.

But if everyone around you is saying, “We’ll just wait until spring,” sometimes that is exactly when it is worth taking a closer look at what is available now.

You do not need to buy just because it is October.

But you also do not need to wait just because everyone else is.

If you are thinking about buying in Brookfield or the western suburbs, send me a message. I’m happy to help you see what the market actually looks like for you right now. 🤍

This is the part of the rate conversation I wish more buyers would look at.

A lower interest rate sounds great, of course.

But if rates drop and suddenly everyone who has been waiting jumps back into the market, you may be dealing with more competition, multiple offers, less negotiating room, and more pressure to move quickly.

On the other hand, a higher rate in a quieter market can sometimes give buyers more breathing room.

Maybe there is room to negotiate on price.
Maybe the seller is open to credits.
Maybe you are not competing with ten other people for the same house.

So the question is not always, “What rate am I getting?”

Sometimes it is, “What kind of buying environment am I stepping into?”

There is no perfect answer for everyone. It depends on your budget, your timing, and what matters most to you.

If you are thinking about buying in the western suburbs and trying to figure out whether now makes sense, send me a message. I am always happy to talk through the whole picture with you. 🤍

Five things I hate about Brookfield real estate” might be a little dramatic… but hear me out. 😂

I tour a beautiful home, and suddenly I’m questioning every room in my own house.

I drive through one of those tucked-away Brookfield streets and immediately start imagining what it would be like to live there.

I know entirely too many good local spots because somehow “market research” keeps turning into lunch.

I get a peek at homes before they officially hit the market and then start thinking about all the things I didn’t know I wanted.

And handing over the keys at closing? That one gets me every time. There’s something about watching someone start a new chapter that makes you want one too.

So yes, these are technically my complaints.

But they’re also a pretty good summary of why I love doing this here.

Brookfield has a way of making real estate feel very personal, whether I’m helping someone find their first home, sell one they’ve loved for decades, or just figure out what their next move could look like.

If buying or selling has been on your mind, send me a message. I’m always happy to talk it through. 🤍

Selling a home gives your brain a lot of material to work with. 😂

But every quiet week, showing, piece of feedback, and offer gives us information. We look at what the market is telling us, talk through the options, and adjust when it makes sense.

You do not need to have all the answers before you list. You just need someone you can ask the uncomfortable questions out loud.

If selling has been taking up a little too much space in your head lately, send me a message. We can talk through what your home and the market are actually telling us. 🤍

Just listed in Brookfield. 🤍

This one feels polished without feeling overdone.

Three bedrooms, two full and two half baths, a beautifully reimagined European-style kitchen with Bosch appliances, quartz countertops, a waterfall island, and Italian tile, plus a renovated primary suite, hardwood floors, gas fireplace, balcony, and attached two-car garage.

And the location is hard to beat. You’re just steps from the Brookfield Metra and close to Kiwanis Park, schools, coffee shops, restaurants, and so many neighborhood favorites.

It’s bright, move-in ready, and designed to make everyday life feel a little easier.

If you’ve been looking for something updated in Brookfield with an easy Chicago commute, send me a message. I’d love to show you around.
