Caring Kitchen is a faith-based 501(c)3 non-profit emergency homeless shelter, soup kitchen, food pantry, clothing & household goods pantry, tutoring center and utility assistance provider serving Champaign Co. Caring Kitchen's Mission is:
• to operate a soup kitchen where everyone is welcome to enjoy a healthy, well-balanced meal.
• to operate a food pantry offering a weekly supply of fresh and non-perishable foods.
• to operate an emergency shelter for the homeless, victims of domestic violence, clients of mental health, veterans and more.
• to distribute new and used clothing and household goods to those in need.
• to provide tutoring services to elementary children and youth in the community.
• to distribute backpacks of food to underserved children and youth at no charge to the local school system.
• to provide additional services consistent with our primary ministries.

Caring Kitchen sends a HUGE THANK YOU to our 1st two sponsors of our annual Thanksgiving Day Meal. In 2025, we served 721 meals and delivered most of them. ColePak and Orbis are making this possible again for 2026!
