🏡 FRIDAY QUESTION — What would make YOU move?

Maybe you're perfectly happy where you are right now.

But let's pretend for a minute...

What would make you start looking at houses?

🏡 More space?
🌳 A bigger backyard?
🧹 Less house and less maintenance?
📍 A different location?
✨ Or would it take finding THE house you just couldn't pass up?

I love this question because everyone's answer is different.

Sometimes moving starts with a major life change. And sometimes it starts with one little thought:

“You know what would be nice...?”

And before you know it, you're looking at houses. 😂

🏡 It’s Wednesday — so let’s dream a little!

When family and friends come to your house, where does everyone naturally gather?

🍷 1 — Around the Kitchen Island
Talking, snacking and keeping the cook company.

🛋️ 2 — In the Living Room
Plenty of comfortable seating, good conversation and maybe a game on TV.

🌿 3 — Out on the Patio
Good food, fresh air and a backyard made for spending time together.

One of the things I love about looking at homes is that two houses can have almost identical square footage but live completely differently.

The right home isn't just about how many bedrooms and bathrooms it has.

It's about finding a space that works for the way you live and the people you love spending time with. ❤️

🏡 TIP TUESDAY!

When you're house hunting, don't just ask yourself:

“Do I love this house?”

Ask yourself:

“Will I love living HERE?”

That beautiful kitchen may get your attention, but once you move in, everyday life matters too.

🚗 How will the location affect your daily drive?
🛒 Are the places you use regularly nearby?
🐾 Does the neighborhood fit your lifestyle?
🏡 Does the home work for the way you actually live?

And here's one of my favorite tips: drive through the neighborhood at different times and on different days.

You may notice things during a weekday morning or evening that you wouldn't see during a Sunday afternoon showing.

Because you're not just buying bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage.

🔍 MYTH MONDAY!

MYTH: The highest offer always wins.

It sounds logical, doesn't it?

If one buyer offers more money than everyone else, they automatically get the house.

Not necessarily.

Price is important, but sellers may be looking at the entire offer—not just the number at the top.

Financing, contingencies, earnest money, closing dates and other terms can all play a part in determining which offer works best for that particular seller.

That's why having a strategy matters.

As a buyer, it's about putting together the strongest offer you comfortably can—not simply throwing out the biggest number.

And as a seller, it's about looking beyond the price and understanding what each offer really means.

🏡 The highest offer isn't always the strongest offer.

That's where having a REALTOR® in your corner can make a difference.
