Come Be Refreshed!
Over the past several days, we've been incredibly encouraged by the way our church family has stepped up to serve one another and our community in the wake of the hurricane. So many of you have given your time, energy, and resources to help others, even while facing challenges of your own. We want you to know how much that means and how grateful we are for each of you!
But we've also noticed something. With so much need around us, many of us have been pushing through, working nonstop, and doing whatever it takes to GET THINGS DONE. And while we've been busy taking care of everyone and everything around us, many of us are physically, emotionally, and spiritually reaching the end of our capacity.
Over the past several days, we've spent a lot of time focused on keeping our physical gas tanks full—and for good reason! But I think it's just as important that we pay attention to our spiritual tanks.
So tonight, we're doing something a little different.
Instead of our regular Wednesday night classes, we're inviting everyone to come together for a special evening of prayer and worship.
We're going to set aside the busyness, turn our attention toward Jesus, and make room for the presence of the Lord to refresh, restore, and refill us.
Because we can't keep pouring out if we never take time to be filled.
Tonight at 6:30 - 7:30 PM | M1 Sanctuary

A Quick Note for Families: We won't have children's ministries tonight because we want all of our volunteers to have the opportunity to be refreshed in God's presence, too! We'll reserve the tables in the sanctuary for families with children and have coloring sheets and other activities available to help keep little hands busy. Your whole family is welcome!
