Some customers don't just call you back. They call you for their family, recommend you to their neighbors, and keep your name in circulation long after the job is done. 👀
That's what makes this week's TPC Truth worth talking about.
We spoke with Neil Goldsberry of Sparks by Rabbit LLC, and one detail stood out: he's worked for one customer's business, mother, wife, at least one son, and a neighbor.
He also shared that some customers still recommend him on Nextdoor a year or two after he's worked for them.
Think about that.
The job may be finished, but the impression you leave can keep working for your business.
Neil also believes part of a tradesperson's responsibility is educating customers—understanding what they're trying to accomplish, explaining the options, and helping them make informed decisions.
That's a powerful reminder for all of us in business:
You don't earn trust just by completing the work. You earn it through the way you treat people along the way. 💙
As we wrap up our conversations about follow-up and business growth, here's the question:
👇 What do you want people to say about your business when you're not in the room?
And be honest: are your customers simply satisfied—or confident enough to put your name behind a referral?
Share your thoughts. Someone else's answer might be the reminder another business owner needs today.
