As a former military spouse, I have a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by the men, women, and families who help protect the freedoms we enjoy. ❤️🤍💙

This year is an extra special celebration as we recognize 250 years of our nation’s independence!

I put together some local events and ways to celebrate around the Spokane area. There are so many great activities happening — from parades and concerts to fireworks and family fun — there’s something for everyone.

As of January 2026, 30-year fixed rates are around 6% (down from the 7% range last year 🙌). FHA & VA buyers may see even lower options 🏡🇺🇸

💰 On a $450,000 home, that could mean ~$250/month in savings compared to early 2025. That’s real money back in your pocket 💵

⚠️ Heads up though—lower rates = more buyers jumping back in 👀🔥 With inventory still tight, prices could climb as demand increases.

This post Thanksgiving Senior Sunday, I'm grateful for the daughter who refuses to let me go to the ER alone because "I've sat there with her 100 times".

It makes me beyond proud that she sees the people around her. Not just her mom but her friends,her colleagues, random people, she really sees others and their needs.

It's a hard life being the one who not only sees- but acts, but man is it something amazing to watch.
