🙏🏾❤️ BEING A GOOD PERSON IS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT ALL BY ITSELF! BUT GOD! 💡 ✨
In a world where kindness is sometimes mistaken for weakness, generosity is taken for granted, and genuine hearts are not always appreciated, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE BLESSING OF HAVING GOODNESS WITHIN YOU!
Being a good person is an accomplishment in itself. Not because everyone will recognize it, applaud it, or reciprocate it, but because GOD KNOWS THE HEARTS OF MAN! 🙌🏾
He sees the silent tears, the unspoken disappointments, the sacrifices made without acknowledgment, and the pain carried by those who continue to show love even when they've been hurt.
He knows when your kindness has been taken advantage of.
He knows when your intentions have been misunderstood.
He knows when you've given your best and received very little in return.
AND YET… GOD REMAINS FAITHFUL! ❤️
Here's what I've come to understand:
The goodness within us is not simply about who we are. It's about WHO dwells within us!
When Christ lives within, His love should be reflected in our daily walks, our conversations, our decisions, and even in how we respond to those who have wronged us.
That doesn't mean we won't experience disappointment. It doesn't mean we must tolerate mistreatment or allow others unlimited access to our peace.
It means we can establish boundaries without becoming bitter, walk away without hatred, and choose righteousness even when the world encourages retaliation.
BECAUSE GOODNESS IS NOT WEAKNESS. IT IS STRENGTH ROOTED IN GOD! 🙏🏾
And let me be clear…
WITHOUT GOD, I AM NOTHING
But through His grace, His correction, His strength, His mercy, and His unfailing love, I am continually being shaped into who He created me to be.
I am not perfect. I am still learning, still growing, still being corrected, and still being refined.
But I serve a PERFECT GOD whose goodness never changes!
📖 "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM." Exodus 3:14
📖 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Hebrews 13:8
📖 "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21
GOD IS GOOD, NOT BECAUSE LIFE IS ALWAYS GOOD, BUT BECAUSE GOODNESS IS WHO HE IS! ❤️
And as His children, we are called to demonstrate that goodness in how we live, how we love, how we forgive, how we serve, and how we treat one another.
So never regret having a good heart simply because someone failed to appreciate it.
Never allow another person's actions to rob you of the goodness God is cultivating within you.
And never confuse being overlooked by people with being forgotten by God.
MAN MAY OVERLOOK YOUR GOODNESS, BUT GOD SEES YOUR HEART!
Keep your faith. Protect your peace. Walk in love. Remain humble. Accept correction. Extend grace. And allow the goodness of God to shine through you.
Not for recognition.
Not for applause.
Not for validation.
BUT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!🙌🏾
Because at the end of the day, it's not about being able to say, "Look how good I am."
It's about being able to say…
"LOOK HOW GOOD GOD HAS BEEN TO ME!"
And if there's any goodness in me, may it always be a reflection of HIM!
BUT GOD! YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVERMORE! 🙏🏾❤️
💬 A gentle reminder: Never allow the world to convince you that having a good heart is a disadvantage. A heart rooted in Christ is a blessing worth protecting.
