Huge news! It was announced yesterday that Sligo Station, a mixed use development, is being planned for Garden City! As it stands now the project would have restaurants and retail on the ground level surrounded by three buildings -each five stories tall! Two of the buildings will have apartments above the retail space and one of the buildings will be an office tower. When fully built this will add 200 living units, 60,000 sq.ft. of office space, and 57,000 sq.ft. of retail and restaurants to Garden City! Sligo Station will become a focal point for people looking for a more urban environment in Garden City with the ability to live, work, and shop in the same district. 2023 is starting off with a bang!
