Amazing cheese, mountain views, and friendly goats? Yes, Please! 🧀🐐🌻

One of our FAVORITE spots in Western North Carolina just happens to be five minutes up the road from First Peak Farm!

If you haven’t visited Looking Glass Creamery, consider this your sign to add it to your next WNC adventure.

Amazing artisan cheeses, boujee grilled cheese sandwiches, homemade ice cream, c***r, and some seriously gorgeous mountain views. ⛰️ But there’s so much more to love!

🌻 And right now, they’re offering FREE U-pick sunflowers while supplies last!

A little insider tip: Bring your own shears for the sunflowers and wear closed-toe shoes. Trust us on this one. 😉

Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly outing, a fun afternoon with friends, or another stop on your Western NC weekend getaway, this place is a gem.

We’re pretty lucky to have neighbors like these. 💚

Life lately at First Peak. 💛🌿

A little dirt, a little chaos, a whole lot of good.

Slow mornings, busy days, good food, full hearts, and a to-do list that somehow keeps getting longer. 😂

We’re learning that building a life you love doesn’t mean every day is picture-perfect. Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it’s exhausting, and sometimes you just have to stop in the middle of it all and think, man, this is pretty good.

There’s so much happening behind the scenes as we continue dreaming, building, and growing First Peak Farm here in the Western North Carolina foothills.

But in between all the big plans, we’re trying not to miss the little moments that make it all worthwhile.

Here’s to the beautiful, ordinary, messy magic of everyday life. ✨

A little reminder from the farm this morning. 🌿

So much of life is spent looking backward at what we wish we’d done differently or forward to all the things we’re hoping will happen.

Meanwhile, there’s so much beauty waiting to be noticed right here, right now.

The morning mist. The light spilling over the pasture. The simple gift of another day.

Here’s to making peace with yesterday, finding joy in today, and trusting that tomorrow will unfold exactly as it should. 💛

Sending a little peace from our corner of Western North Carolina.

The best nights are homemade. 🍕❤️

There’s just something about gathering around the table with people you love, good food, and nowhere else you need to be.

Around here, sourdough pizza nights are kind of our love language. A little flour, a little w**e, and a lot of laughter! This week, our Tia visiting from France taught us tarte flambée 😋

And as we dream up all the ways to welcome guests to First Peak Farm, we’re thinking evenings like this might just need to be part of the experience.

Come for the farm stay, stay for the sourdough. Maybe even learn to make your own! 🍕✨

Because the best souvenirs aren’t always things. Sometimes they’re memories, new skills, and a really good pizza.

Tell us: would you rather learn to make sourdough pizza or just show up hungry? 👇

One of our favorite things about living here? The neighbors. 🍷⛰️

When family comes to visit, a trip to Mountain Brook Vineyards in Tryon, NC is always a good idea!

Just FIVE minutes from First Peak Farm, this gorgeous estate has some of the prettiest mountain views around. And it’s the perfect place to gather with friends and family, sip a little w**e, and stay awhile.

With live music and food trucks most weekends, small bites available, and the option to bring your own picnic, it’s pretty easy to make an afternoon of it.

We’re a little biased, but we think the Western NC foothills are a pretty special place to spend a weekend. 💚

🍷 Save this for your next visit to Tryon, NC! And tell us—what’s your favorite local spot to take out-of-town guests?

There’s just something special about preparing a space for people you love. 🧡

Fresh linens, cozy little details, and the anticipation of making memories together.

This week we’re welcoming family to First Peak Farm, but as we get everything ready, we can’t help dreaming about the day we’ll welcome YOU, too.

Our little farm stay in the Western North Carolina foothills is getting closer, and we can’t wait to share it with you. 🏡

Tell us: what’s one little touch that makes a place feel like home when you travel?

The calendar says fall. The thermometer has other plans. 😅🍂

We’re carrying on with pumpkins, mums and all the fall things anyway here at First Peak Farm in Western North Carolina. Now if someone could kindly tell the weather it’s October, that’d be great. 🎃

Anyone else stubbornly pretending it’s sweater weather?

No rushing. No fixing. No chasing what’s next.

Just the sun coming up, the world waking slowly, and a little reminder that you don’t always have to do something to make the day worthwhile.

What a day to breathe deep, look around, and simply BE. 🌅

Hope you find a little moment to soak it all in today. 💚

Just out here feeding our tiny dinosaurs. 🦖🐓

Girls are absolutely feral.
Would 100% eat us if they were six feet tall.
And yet, every morning, they report for duty. 🫡 🥚

Follow for more wholesome farm content featuring animals who barely earn their keep yet somehow run the entire operation. 🌾😂

The shift: “I have to” becomes “I get to” and the impact is everything.

Do I enjoy waking up before the sun? No. Do I love the sparkle of morning light off the dew? So much YES.

Not every morning feels magical. Not every chore feels like a gift. But sometimes gratitude is simply remembering that so many of the things we have to do are also things we’re lucky enough to get to do.

A little morning reminder from the farm:
I don’t HAVE to. I GET to. 💚
