Hello friends and fans,
Please read this to the end. I’ve been holding off sending this announcement because I was waiting for some additional information to share, which still has not surfaced. So I will go ahead and share it now, if and when the additional information is available, I will share it with you.
For sometime now, my family has felt the urge to relocate closer to more family. Last week, some things fell into place that will satisfy that longing. I have accepted a job offer for a heating and cooling company out of state. This means that me and my family is now in the process of moving to Texas. It also means that Huntington Inspections is shutting its doors and is unable to accept inspection requests of any kind. You can still reach out to us with questions from recent inspections if they arise. I do hope to one day resume doing inspections, but that is bridge to be crossed at a later time.
It has been six years since I decided to run my own inspection company, and in 5.5+ years in business, I have completed 730 inspections and made countless new friends. I have poured my entire self into making this a successful and reputable business, and I greatly appreciate the support, encouragement, and referrals that each of you have provided.
This is a bittersweet time. Torrington and Goshen County have been home for 16 years. While we will miss each and every one of you, we also look forward to the plans and opportunities that God has in store for us as we follow His leading to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
The first phase will occur this next week when Mike drives down to start his new position and to begin the home search. The second phase will be a little bit later when the rest of the family and our belongings are moved down. We do expect to be leaving Wyoming entirely by the end of this year.
