I’m Kimberly Doner, a Residential Real Estate Advisor who has served the greater South Bay area for more than a decade. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and live in Torrance with my husband, our two daughters, and our 2 Newfoundland dogs. We enjoy my husband’s Michelin-star-quality home cooked meals, watching our girls’ club soccer games and going skiing/snowboarding in the winter. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado (go Buffs!). Earlier this month, my sweet sellers closed on their family home in Torrance. 🏡 It was an emotional process as this was the home their beloved mother had worked so hard for and poured so much love into. 💕 When they hired me to list the property, I knew we had to find the right buyer who would appreciate this home as much as they had! 🙏🏻

A new favorite coffee shop has been unlocked: Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen!

I spent the last week attending jury duty 👩🏼‍⚖️ in Inglewood, and the silver lining was stumbling into this vibey cafe for my daily lunch break! Hilltop has a great menu with classic coffee drinks, seasonal treats, and tons of options for a quick bite. My favorites were the breakfast bowl 🍳, the OG beignets 😋, and the refreshing Arnold Palmer 🍋.

If you ever find yourself summoned to the Inglewood courthouse, or happen to be in the Inglewood area, definitely stop in for a delicious bite and drink. You won’t regret it!

Local Spotlight: Great White Manhattan Beach 🦈🌊

This neighborhood-focused, all-day cafe has recently opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, and has already become a South Bay favorite! 🐚 The menu has a wide selection of breakfast specials 🥞, refreshing bowls, tasty burgers 🍔, and juices, smoothies, coffee, and cocktails! 🍹.

Located in downtown MB (right across from Kalle!), the space is super vibey and has great seating both indoors and out. Some of my faves that I’ve tried so far are the amazing fish tacos 🌮, branzino 🍋, and hamachi ceviche 🐠. The green goddess 💚 smoothie is also delish, and I’ve heard great things about the breakfast burrito 🌯!
