Is the housing market different from what it was a couple of years ago? Absolutely. But different doesn’t mean bad! 🏡✨

Don’t let the headlines about 7% interest rates scare you. Higher rates can mean less buyer competition, giving buyers more room to negotiate things like purchase price, seller credits, closing costs, or even a rate buydown.

And sellers, there’s positive news for you too! Serious buyers are still out there looking for the right home. 🔑

I love the saying, “You marry the house, but you date the rate.” The important thing is finding a home you love AND a payment that works for you today. If rates come down in the future, refinancing may be an option depending on your individual situation.

There are still opportunities on both sides of the market; sometimes you just need to know where to find them!
