📉 Mortgage rates have eased slightly!
According to Freddie Mac's October 22 report, the national average 30-year fixed mortgage rate declined to 7.32%, down from 7.40% the previous week.
🏡 New federal housing initiatives are underway!
A recently signed executive order directs federal agencies to pursue changes involving mortgage-insurance cancellation for eligible borrowers on certain future loans, refinancing expenses, and factory-built housing.
These changes will take time to implement, but they're important developments for anyone following housing affordability.
And here in Florida, the latest statewide September housing report shows a median single-family home price of $415,000.
