GeoPoint Academy’s Professional Utility Locating: Hybrid course combines the flexibility of self-paced online learning with a full day of instructor-led field and simulator training.

This NULCA-accredited course gives participants the opportunity to first build their foundational knowledge online, then apply what they’ve learned using locating equipment, training simulators, and real-world field exercises.

The course covers three core areas:
✅ Signal Theory: Understand how electromagnetic locating signals are generated, transmitted, detected, and affected by field conditions.
✅ Transmitter Techniques: Learn proper connection and grounding techniques, frequency selection, induction methods, signal isolation, and equipment care.

Our West Palm Beach crew recently stepped away from the day-to-day for a summer picnic at Carlin Park and a little sunshine, good food, and great company were definitely on the agenda.

Days like these are about more than taking a break. They're an opportunity to connect outside of projects and deadlines, strengthen the relationships that make our teams successful, and simply enjoy spending time together.

Marking the completion of the building's structural frame, the event was an opportunity to recognize the progress taking shape—and the hard work, precision, and collaboration that have helped bring the project to this point.
