Did you know a devastating fire helped shape the downtown Tahlequah we know today? 🔥

In 1895, the Great Fire destroyed 14 businesses and changed the way Tahlequah was built. The town banned new wooden buildings in the business district and established a volunteer fire company.

Those historic brick buildings you see downtown today? They're part of the story of how Tahlequah rebuilt and moved forward!
