More Space. More Function. More Time Together.

Sometimes, the best home renovations aren't just about creating beautiful spaces. They're about bringing families closer together!

For this stunning Cedar Rapids kitchen and mudroom renovation, we transformed the main living area into a seamless, functional space designed for everyday life.

✨ A custom kitchen featuring white oak cabinetry, stone countertops, and a beautiful stone backsplash.

✨ A brand-new mudroom with custom lockers and bench seating, created by borrowing space from the garage.

✨ An expanded living room with taller ceilings and a cozy window bench.

✨ A screened-in porch that brings the outdoors a little closer to home.

Our favorite part? The homeowners now have a space where the whole family can gather, entertain, and spend more time together. Even the older kids are hanging around a little longer before disappearing into their rooms!

At Custom Pro Homes, that's what we love most about remodeling. We're not just transforming houses. We're creating spaces where life happens.

Built to Look Beautiful. Built to Last.

In Iowa, your home's exterior needs to do more than make a great first impression. It needs to stand up to everything Mother Nature throws its way!

From freezing winters and heavy snow to scorching summers, strong winds, and unpredictable storms, Iowa weather can be tough on a home.

At Custom Pro Homes, we believe a beautiful exterior should be just as durable as it is eye-catching. That's why we focus on quality materials, expert craftsmanship, and thoughtful design that can withstand the elements while looking incredible for years to come.

Because a great home isn't just built for today. It's built for a lifetime of Iowa seasons.

The modern-day kitchen is pretty incredible.

At Custom Pro Homes, we love creating beautiful spaces—but we also love incorporating the latest technology and features that make everyday life just a little easier.

Take a look at these automatic-closing cabinets we recently installed as part of a home remodel. It’s one of those details you might not think about at first, but once you have it, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.

Today’s kitchens can be smarter, more functional, and more personalized than ever before. From innovative cabinetry and storage solutions to lighting, appliances, and smart-home technology, we’re always looking for ways to bring the latest ideas into our projects.

Because a great remodel isn’t just about how your kitchen looks—it’s about how it works for you.

Thinking about updating your kitchen? Let’s build something incredible.

Last week, we showed you the exterior of this incredible Custom Pro Homes build in the countryside near Central City. Now, let’s step inside.

There’s something special about a home where the views seem to go on forever—and those views are just as impressive from inside.

Completed in 2025, this custom home was thoughtfully designed to take full advantage of its beautiful surroundings. Every room feels connected to the landscape, while the details throughout the home reflect exactly how this family wanted to live.

And one of our favorite spaces? A dedicated golf simulator room.

We've spent a lot of time building homes throughout the Cedar Rapids–Iowa City corridor, and we truly believe this is one of the best places to put down roots and build the home you’ve always wanted.

You get the best of both worlds here—great communities, excellent schools, growing neighborhoods, beautiful countryside, and easy access to everything Cedar Rapids and Iowa City have to offer. Whether you want a little more land and privacy or a home in a neighborhood close to schools, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, there are so many possibilities.

But the best part about building a custom home is making it yours. Your property. Your floor plan. Your finishes. Your ideas brought to life.

At Custom Pro Homes, we love working alongside our clients from those first conversations all the way to handing over the keys.

If you’ve been thinking about building in the Cedar Rapids–Iowa City corridor, now is a great time to start the conversation.
