Buying and selling the Ozarks. Being honest, having integrity, and showing loyalty to the clients I John was born and raised in the Greater Springfield area.

With the Ozarks being saturated with so many outdoor activities, it helps satisfy his endless cravings for a healthy lifestyle which includes running, weight training, hiking, cycling, and boating. John is a family man; devoted to God with his gorgeous wife Lisa and two children Zach and Riley. He attended college at Missouri State University (SMSU) where he studied psychology with an associates degree in criminal justice. John not only plays hard but he works even harder. He first went into law enforcement where he worked in the patrol and detective divisions. During his career he was awarded several meritorious awards for his life saving efforts as well as being awarded the prestigious officer of the year for his proactive crime fighting achievements. As a hobby, he followed the real estate market and trends with him selling and building properties. When John was given an opportunity to get actively involved in real estate full time, he switched paths in life. He has since been proudly serving the people of the Ozarks joining Murney Associates: the locally owned, top selling and awarded real estate company in Southwest Missouri. Whether you are buying or selling a home, John has vast knowledge of the southern Greene and northern Christian County areas. Selecting the right agent is the first major step for any seller or buyer. Your agent must have honesty, integrity, loyalty, and be hard working. John has built his life around those ethical values. Your agent must have the skills to conquer any challenge that might arise so you can have peace of mind. John has the ability to cope with those challenges. If you or anyone you know are thinking about selling or buying a home, or if you just have any questions regarding real estate, feel free to give John a call/text/email anytime.
