Things they don’t teach you in real estate school.
Like what to do when your clients close on an almost $2 million home and nobody can get inside.
Supra malfunction. All the other keys locked inside.
Naturally, I tried picking the lock with a credit card and a New Jersey Natural Gas lawn sign. Neither worked. Shocking.
Next logical step? Have the listing agent pull his car to the house so I could climb through a window.
Seemed reasonable at the time.
Anyway, keys secured.
I genuinely love this job. You never know what the day is going to bring.
Some days you’re negotiating million-dollar deals. Other days you’re climbing through windows in your slippers.
My clients’ needs will always come before my dignity.
And no, this wasn’t covered in real estate school.
