We talked ourselves out of a commission check. More than once, actually.

A neighbor came to us ready to sell. After going through our typical presentation, we found a better plan for them: keep the home as a cash-flowing investment property.

Did it cost us a commission? Yeah. But the best advice isn't always the one that helps our bottom line.

Years later, they called us to sell it, and we helped them do exactly that.

A low appraisal doesn’t always mean the value isn’t there.

We recently had a listing where the appraisal came in $10,000 low. After taking a closer look at the report, we caught something pretty significant. The appraiser had missed roughly 250 sqft of the home.

With Landin's background as a licensed appraiser, we knew what to look for and how to challenge the valuation through a reconsideration of value.

This is where experience matters.
