The FIRST SOMERNOVA FIELD DAY brought the energy! 🙌🏆

Thank you to all our tenants, partners, and friends who joined us for 12 rounds of physical and mental challenges, friendly competition, and plenty of fun! One team came out on top and took home the $1,000 cash prize! 💵🔥

A huge shout-out to our fabulous MC, Victoria from Climate Salon, for keeping the energy high! 🎤

Special thanks to Parkour Generations Boston for running the stations and keeping our competitors safe while having a blast, and to Bouldering Project - Boston for welcoming us into their space!

Our community made this first Field Day one to remember! ❤️

📺🎤 TEEN TIME IN THE SPOTLIGHT!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Fox News to The Dojo @ Somernova to see what TEEN TIME is all about! 🙌🏾

They had the opportunity to interview youth from Teen Empowerment Somerville and FRC 6201: The Highlanders and hear firsthand about their experiences, growth, and connection to the Dojo.

This past summer, the Dojo, alongside Teen Empowerment and Books Of Hope, received a Books Of Hopet to help expand youth programming, opportunities, and resources for young people across Somerville! 💯🔥

A huge thank you to the City of Somerville and Rafi Properties for continRafi Propertiesin our youth and helping make opportunities like this possible.

We’re excited for what’s next! 🚀
