Because Downtown Smithfield’s Candy Crawl is calling you all!

From 4–6 PM on October 29,
We’ll be handing out treats that are frightfully fine!
Creep down the sidewalks, knock on each door,
And see how much candy you can carry some more!

Will you be a princess? A pirate? A bat?
A spooky old witch with a very tall hat?
Whatever you wear, come show off your style—
Our downtown shops are ready to make you smile!

But wait… the night isn’t over just yet!
There’s a spooky adventure you won’t want to forget!
When your candy is gathered and your costumes are through,
Head to the Ghost Walk for a fright or two!

The 22nd Annual Downtown Smithfield Historical Ghost Walk & Book Signing runs from 6–8 PM at Riverside Cemetery.

I know tires come a lot bigger for farm equipment and stuff, but these were some of the biggest tires I have dealt with at We Ship It! They were 38" in diameter and they weighed 68 pounds each. And we got the shipping labels attached for the driver to pick up. Come see us for your shipping needs!

Finally getting the elk antlers packed up. If we had packed it inside, it wouldn’t have gone through the door, so the packing moved outside under the parking shelter. The final package on its pallet waiting for freight pickup. A fun adventure and challenge. Praying for its safe delivery.

This adventure isn't over yet. Trying to get these elk antlers to their new wall in another state. They are 48 inches across and 51 inches tall.

The air conditioner is working hard, trying to keep the heat and humidity within tolerable limits. But we have hope of the coming autumn! We’re working on getting things to look a little like fall and Halloween. Even some Thanksgiving cards. Come see what we’ve got while we wait for the cooler days.

Almost 2 years ago, we convinced James to come work with us. And he was a perfect fit. Honest, kind, industrious, smart, friendly - he represented We Ship It, the Allens, his parents, and himself well. And now he's all grown up and moving on. He'll still be around town and we hope to visit often, but today was his last day on our staff. Maybe he'll come help out for Christmas. We often said that he wasn't family, but we would claim him if his family would let us. But he is family. And we will miss him.
