I spy with my eye a little Fungi. Foraging is here! Along with Fungi Fest in Port Angeles this weekend. The Olympic National Forest is a land of wonder especially when you’re looking for mushrooms. A simple turn of the head or direction on a path came open up a whole new adventure. The leaves are changing making the drive a fiery site. Oh to the joy of living here in the PNW.

Walking into the forest comes with a grounding that is like no other. It as if the forest floors pulls all that doesn’t serve you into its self absorbs it for you to be at peace. For me this the magic of the Olympic National Forest available to all you act to the call of the trees.

Merriman Falls off South Shore Rd near Lake Quinault is refreshing and tranquil. It’s so easy to access right off the road. We love a beautiful waterfall.
