We are looking for volunteers to join our team at Elizabeth Gregory Home! Our Day Shelter has been serving more women than ever, and we could use your help in many ways. Volunteers help our kitchen team serve two meals a day, keep the Day Shelter clean, receive and sort donations, and do many other important tasks! 🥰

🌟Meet the EGH Team: Ally Baehr, our Executive Director!🌟

Ally has worked at Elizabeth Gregory Home for more than 4 years, and we are truly so lucky to have her on our team.🙌

Three questions with Ally:

1. What do you do at EGH?
I’m part of the EGH leadership team, helping to make decisions together about how we operate the Day Shelter and Transitional Housing Program. I also help with fundraising, operations, community building with partner agencies, and grant management and reporting.

2. Why do you love working at EGH?
I love working at EGH because we have an amazing community of people who care about each other, take care of each other, and lift each other up - both on our team and the people we serve.

3. What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I love to go camping, biking, explore new places, and spend time with the people I love.

The seasons are changing, and it’s getting cold!❄️

Our Day Shelter relies on donated items to serve our guests. We are currently accepting donations of new and gently used coats in sizes XL and larger.
Donations may be dropped off at the EGH Day Shelter Sunday through Friday, 9 am – 4 pm💚
