🏗️ Exciting redevelopment news in the Capital Region!

New York has announced $13.5 million in funding to help transform portions of the former Saint Rose campus in Albany and the vacant ShopRite in Slingerlands into new community and educational spaces.

At Park Ridge Construction, we love seeing existing buildings given new life through renovation and redevelopment.

Projects like these demonstrate the opportunities that come with improving and repurposing existing properties.

Looking forward to seeing these projects take shape!

(accidental background music, but it’s spooky season I guess…?!) Left for a few hours and came back to carpet throughout the space. The crew got a lot done today!

A quick walkthrough of the progress at 192 Erie Boulevard in Schenectady, where we’re building out office space for an incoming tenant.

Exciting to see it coming together and getting closer to move-in!

Before there were 88 apartments, it looked like this.

A look back at construction at Reserve at Towpath Trail in Schenectady… four buildings, built from the ground up, with Park Ridge handling construction management!

Today, the community is managed by our family’s property management company, Maddalone & Associates, Inc. Our involvement didn’t end when construction wrapped up.

We’ve shared the finished project, but these photos show some of the work that went into getting there.

Meet Chris Maddalone, the owner of Park Ridge Construction—and my father-in-law.

If you’ve been around one of our projects, you’ve probably seen him walking the site, talking with the crews, or figuring out what needs to happen next.

His experience includes building homes from the ground up, apartment developments, and bringing older buildings back to life. He’s still out on the job sites today!

As we share more of our work here, we wanted you to meet the person behind it. Hopefully we’ll get him in front of the camera soon, too!

We’re building out office space for a tenant moving in over the next few months, with another buildout underway in the building as well.

Now that we’ve introduced ourselves, here’s a look at one of our past projects.

Reserve at Towpath Trail in Schenectady—88 apartments across four buildings. Park Ridge handled the construction management for this project, and we’re proud to have been part of it.

A lot of work goes into a project this size. Thank you to the crews and everyone who helped bring it together.
