Coastal living is dreamy… but I’d check a few things before falling in love. 🌊

Living near the water around Savannah can be amazing, but I always want buyers looking past the view too. Flood zone, insurance costs, drainage, and the extra maintenance that comes with salt air can all make a difference.

None of it has to be a dealbreaker, you just want to know what you’re signing up for before closing.

New York-based Sanders Equities has purchased a five-building industrial portfolio in Savannah, Georgia, further expanding its presence in one of the country's fastest-growing logistics and industrial markets. The acquisition, known as the Portside V Portfolio, was purchased from Prologis and pushes Sanders Equities' total holdings in Savannah to more than 1 million square feet.

The deal highlights continued investor interest in Savannah's industrial sector, driven by the area's strong logistics network and growth around the Port of Savannah.

The Savannah Southern Half Marathon returns for its second year with a new course, starting and finishing at Forsyth Park! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Expected to bring in around 6,000 runners, this year’s event will take participants through the heart of Savannah, passing local landmarks like the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, Enmarket Arena, and Historic Grayson Stadium.

The event will also feature a 5K race, with a route through the Thomas Square and Baldwin Park neighborhoods, finishing at Daffin Park. It’s another great opportunity to celebrate Savannah’s charm, beautiful neighborhoods, and growing running community!

One of those Wilmington Island neighborhoods you really need to drive through to appreciate 🌳 Olde Towne has the live oaks, white picket fences, sidewalks, neighborhood amenities and a mix of homes that actually have some personality.

Despite the headlines, today's housing market is proving to be far more resilient than many people think.

Unlike the 2008 housing crisis, most homeowners now have significant equity, low mortgage rates, and strong financial positions. Foreclosures remain well below historical averages, and while home price growth has slowed, prices are stabilizing—not crashing.

The market is simply returning to a more balanced pace after the unprecedented buying frenzy of 2020 and 2021. Waiting for a major housing crash could mean missing out on opportunities to build equity while the market continues to adjust.
